About

I’m Wayne Cox, husband to Christy and father of four amazing kids. I’m also a son, brother, friend and a member of Christian community – these are just some of the relationships that make me who I am. I also get to work with a great team at The Content Squad, a Louisville, Kentucky internet marketing agency. I spend most of my time developing and improving the online presence of our clients. You can see some of the work we’ve done on The Content Squad portfolio page.

I blog here about my interests in web design, inbound marketing, technology and the social web. Take a second and subscribe to get updated on new content. You can follow me on Twitter or circle me on Google+. I also blog occasionally at Clay Pot Chronicles about issues of culture and faith.

I’ve not always worked in the design and marketing field. In 2003, Christy and I moved our family to Elizabethtown, Kentucky to help start The Bridge Community. After finishing graduate school at Asbury Theological Seminary, we lived the adventure of church planting for almost eight years! It was during that time, as part of our church’s bi-vocational leadership strategy, I began freelancing on graphic and web design jobs. I got to work on some great projects in that time – you can see a few of them here. After transitioning out of leadership at the church in the Summer of 2011, I devoted my vocational attention to design and online marketing. Today, we still serve at The Bridge, though I’m no longer on staff. I speak occasionally on Sunday mornings and am a volunteer member of the teaching team. This year, Christy and I will celebrate our 17th anniversary, I’ll become the father of a teenager and I’ll see my youngest son begin second grade. It’s an amazing time in our household!
